Unlike plated gold, solid gold should not tarnish. Having said that, this doesn’t mean your jewelry will never tarnish. As long as you take care of your jewlry and avoid consistent exposure to harsh chemicals such as hairspray, perfume, chlorine etc. Your jewelry should not tarnish.
